Catie has been dreaming of her University Club wedding day for two years!
Wedding day chic in Barbie Pink!
Decked out in Barbie hot pink, Catie had a fun morning getting ready with her mom and adorable niece.
In her own words, Catie has collected friends from every part of her life. She and her maid of honor met as first graders and have a lifetime of memories together. Her bride crew included high school friends, college friends and in laws. They made sure every moment of her day was flawless.
After meeting as students as Loyola University, they fell in love and have been adventuring together ever since. Many of their bridal party were fellow ramblers, including the priest who married them! He graduated with the groomsmen and made their ceremony so warm and personal.
Their University Club wedding reception was filled with charming toasts. Catie's dad kicked off the evening with the perfect toast that was funny and touching. The best man brought his own special bottle to toast with - Chicago champagne. Or otherwise known as Malort. The highlight of the evening was the re-emergence of the ditka's. For his bachelor party, Jake and his groomsmen dressed up in Chicago Bears gear as Mike Ditka. The photo of them dressed up went viral. They choreographed a little dance for the encore!
