Jessica + Sean’s July 4th Galleria Marchetti wedding was such an amazing day!
Jessica’s parents fulfilled their dream of seeing their daughter walk down the aisle, Sean got a first kiss with his beautiful bride, their adorable pup got in on the fun, there were tearful toasts, Jessica’s grandmother hitting the dance floor, toasting s’mores and a sparkler sendoff. Absolute wedding perfection!
“She got to see you walk down the aisle and this is the happiest day of my life.”
As a Chicago wedding photographer, I am included in the most intimate moments are a couples life and I get to learn about what brought them to this moment in their lives – family struggles, hardships and triumphs.
Father of the bride toasts get me every time, but this one was particularly touching. Shortly after Jessica was born her mother was diagnosed with MS. She dreamed of being able to see her daughter walk down the aisle. Their wedding day was the fulfillment of a 27 year dream for her parents. Jessica looked absolutely stunning and she married an incredible guy. What parent could ask for more?
Their wedding celebration was smaller than originally planned. Close family & friends were treated to a great Galleria Marchetti wedding! Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the garden and then moved into the La Pergola for dinner. As evident during the beautiful toasts, this couple is truly loved by everyone they meet.
It was such a gorgeous Chicago evening to be outside. When the awning was retracted, it was perfect for dancing and enjoying the beautiful evening weather. Later in the evening, the outdoor fire pits were lit and guests got to enjoy toasting s’mores.
The perfect end to their wedding celebration? Of course a sparkler exit! Jessica’s mom surprised the couple with special heart shaped sparklers.
