let’s meet for a date in Chicago
Kaitlyn and Andrew wanted their Art Institute of Chicago engagement shoot to feel like their romantic dates. They have been racking up the frequent flyer miles to see each other every chance they get. Because he lives in Boston and she is currently in Chicago, they love to plan romantic dates together when they are in the same city. Visiting museums is one of the things they enjoy together.

Taking a stroll around the city, they also wanted some engagement photos at Chicago’s most iconic spots, like the Wrigley Building. However, their engagement shoot happen to fall on the day of the Chicago Irish parade, where they dye the river green. Needless to say, there was a big crowd all around the riverwalk. We improvised and headed up to the rooftop area of the Trump Hotel and got some gorgeous photos up high. We finished up the day at North Avenue beach.
