Chicago Riverwalk + North Avenue Beach Engagement Session

There’s something pretty magical about a Chicago riverwalk fall engagement when the light is just right. For this session, we started with a dressy look along the Chicago Riverwalk, where her gorgeous emerald green dress felt like the perfect nod to the colors of fall. The rich green against the warm city architecture and soft, glowing light made every image feel timeless and romantic.

For the second half of the session, they changed into a more casual look and we headed to North Avenue Beach. With the lake, skyline, and that beautiful Chicago light as our backdrop, we captured the kind of moments I love most — walking, laughing, cuddling, and just enjoying being together.

I love an engagement session that feels like you, rather than a series of perfectly posed photos. A little dressed up, a little casual, plenty of laughter, and all the in-between moments that make the photos feel like a reflection of your relationship.

Light, bright, romantic, and completely Chicago. And yes, I will always make room for the dog. 🐾
