Oak Street Beach engagement fun

Gabriella and Alec had a rare date night out together. Since he is finishing medical school in Tennessee and Gabriella lives in Chicago, they are temporarily doing the long distance tango. She takes care of their pups while he is busy finishing residency. They get to enjoy quick weekend visits whenever he can get away.

Wearing a gorgeous blue silk dress, Gabriella + Alec had a romantic Chicago engagement session filled with timeless portraits, iconic city views, and genuine moments together. We walked around the Wrigley Building to some of my favorite engagement spots along the Chicago Riverwalk. Capturing candid laughter, sweet embraces, and elegant portraits surrounded by the city’s stunning architecture.

Portraits with dogs

Joining in the fun at Oak Street Beach were their two adorable dogs! They just recently added a new doodle puppy to the family. And she was full of energy! And really stole the show. She wanted to run and play on the beach, digging holes and chasing other dogs. It was a challenge to get her to sit still for a few quick portraits!
