Mallory & James

Pink Desert Lost Dutchman Park Wedding

With the sun slowly starting to over the mountains at Lost Dutchman State Park, Mallory and James said their I do’s with their closet family and friends.

Their first phone call was a bit unconventional, almost sounds like a plot to a horror movie. She hid in the closet and he paced around her neighborhood and they talked for hours. At the end of the call, he moved their planned Friday date to Monday because he couldn’t wait to see her. From that moment on, it turned into a love story that was an instant connection.

“I promise to love you when you go bald and I just keep telling you I don’t notice.”

After their sweet, heartfelt ceremony, made even more personal with a hand-drawn note in their vow book by James, the couple sealed the moment with their first kiss as newlyweds. It was one of those pauses in time where everything felt still, intentional, and completely theirs.

As the celebration shifted into golden hour, the desert began to transform. The rugged mountain backdrop softened under a dreamy wash of pink and amber light, creating the kind of setting that feels almost too beautiful to be real. Naturally, they slipped away for sunset portraits, soaking in those first quiet moments together as husband and wife.

Then it was off to celebrate with their friends and family over pizza!
