Sarah + Will's spring University Club of Chicago wedding day was the perfect intimate celebration for them.
They wanted and understated and relaxing wedding day where they could just enjoy the simple moments as they happened. Getting ready with her mom and sister, a few tears of joy were shed.
Surrounded by the beautiful gothic windows in the gallery room of the Michigan Room wedding at the University Club of Chicago, Will waited for his bride.
The second she rounded the corner, he couldn't wait any longer and quickly turned around to see her. With both of them wiping away tears, it was the perfect private moment.
With and overcast sky, it was a dreamy day to take photos on the balcony. Overlooking Millennium Park, the balcony on the 12th floor is amazing for photos. Their small wedding party of all their siblings joined them for a few photos. Looking elegant, the bridesmaids rocked their silky green dresses.
The bittersweet moments with your parents just before walking down the aisle are some of my favorite. It's such a mixture of excitement, nervousness and flashes of dreams of this moment. As Sarah and her parents waited in the hallway at Old St. Pat's, I wanted to capture a few of these moments.
Sarah looked so lovely walking down the aisle as her cathedral train followed behind her. Her dad gently lifted her veil to give her away. Sarah and her mom shared an emotional moment together.
At their Michigan Room wedding University Club reception, the bride & groom made their big entrance.
WIth their guests sipping cocktails, the bride and groom had their first dance. After cutting their cake, the happy couple enjoyed the sweetest toasts from all their siblings.
"When Will called me a few years ago and said that he had gone on a few dates and Sarah was able to withstand the Bears game in mid November, I knew he’d found the one"
"I know that Sarah has found her match. And that makes me so happy that my better half, my sister and my all time best friend has found her partner"
