Love laughs and first looks

Hannah + Collin’s Walden Chicago wedding day was truly a celebration of how perfect they are for each other.

When I first met Hannah + Collin for their engagement shoot, I saw immediately that they share a goofy love. They definitely don’t take themselves too seriously. Despite the fact that they have serious law jobs, when they are together they have a shared comic timing and love to make each other laugh. They also have a very sentimental side – wanting to take engagement photos at Cafe Baba Reba where they had their first date. In addition to laughter, they also have a shared dislike for taking photos, so they were happy for a quick engagement shoot!

Their wedding day was filled with the same love and laughter, but this time shared with family and friends. Wanting to make each moment special and include everyone, they wanted to do a first look with the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. With Collin’s four brothers in the wedding party, the groomsmen first look didn’t disappoint!

And now the time to celebrate

Taking a moment for just the two of them, we toured the city hot spots for photos, including Union Station and the Lyric Opera House. Meeting up under the Lake Street L stop, the wedding party dropped in for some fun shots before the ceremony.

While they share a love for silly photos and laughs, their traditional jewish ceremony was filled with sentimental moments. Collin’s dad gave a blessing and each one of his brothers stood up and did readings for the couple.

“You may not remember where you put your keys, but you remember every detail about everyone you love. You many force your friends to listen to a lot of bad jokes, but you always answer when they call.”

Of course the reception was filled with love and warm moments. And best of all, the traditional horah!
