The day they got maieried

Mallory and Callum’s Loft Lucia wedding day story was a fairly tale. A chance meeting first with his underwear, a sweet love story and raucous Scottish humor also featuring his underwear. Since the combination of their last names create “married,” it was written in the stars that they would meet up.

“As a spanish teacher, I always thought I was destined for a spicy spanish speaking soulmate. But the universe chuckled and said “try again love”and gave me a Brit with a voice that makes me melt and often forces me to Google what you’re saying.”

Getting ready at the Hyatt House Hotel, Callum got into his kilt with his mates. His booming laugh filled up the room with a combination of mischief and excitement. With an overcast sky and the city in the background, Callum waited to see his beautiful bride.

After a tearful first look, the couple grabbed an umbrella and their pup to walk down the block to the Loft Lucia wedding venue.

They planned an intimate wedding day with their close family and friends, many of them flying in from the UK to see them they I do. Of course their beloved pup stole the show wearing her tartan bandana walking down the aisle.

Before the Loft Lucia wedding ceremony, the guests mingles and sipped cocktails on the outdoor patio. It was almost a perfect summer day with a few sprinkles while we were walking from the hotel to the venue.

The couple were treated to amazingly sweet toasts from her parents and sister. But Callum’s best man brought down the house with a hilarious tribute to the various evolutions of Callum.
