Olivia + Alex live their lives trying to make the world a better place. She is a teacher and he is in medical school. They met in Miami, volunteering for Teach for America. It's obvious to see what draws them to each other. They share such a bond of teamwork with a goal of helping others.

“Not only have I lived through his accomplishments, but I’ve seen his wonderful development as a human being. A man of substance. He continues to surprise me, but he has most impressed me with his choice of partner.”

Olivia got glammed up with her devoted bridesmaids at the apartment she shares with Alex. With the weather misting a little bit, it provided a beautiful backdrop of the city. Meanwhile Alex was at the Chicago Hilton with his fun groomsmen. Wearing matching “Olivia + Alex” shorts, there was no shortage of laughs for this crew!

Simply elegant would be the only way to describe Olivia. She is effortlessly glamorous with a graceful demeanor. Alex is serious, thoughtful and desperately in love with his beautiful bride.

“I remember when I first met Alex how strange to me it was that he described everything as lovely. To Alex, life is lovely. He’s such a passionate person and he finds both beauty and purpose in everything he does. And then he commits himself to it. Olivia, you brought a new sense of calm and purpose to Alex’s life. I could also tell by his use of lovely per minute.”

With the vintage black and while checked tile and the grand windows overlooking the park, Olivia + Alex chose a perfect setting for their South Shore Cultural Center wedding.
