Natalie & Tom
adler planetarium wedding
Lots of getting ready laughs
Natalie + Tom’s sweet Adler Planetarium wedding day was the perfect summer day!
There were plenty of laughs in the bridal suite as the girls were getting glammed up. With toilet paper under her arm pits, Natalie’s maid of honor tried to avoid pit stains on her lavender bridesmaid dress. The bride gave her mom a thought gift of a purse with photos of her as the lining.
The couple decided to make it a traditional wedding day and not see each other before the ceremony. But the bridesmaids were able to catch a sneak peek as they saw the groomsmen heading to the Wrigley Building for photos.
Sunset first kiss
With the bright summer sun shining across Lake Michigan, the guests arrived for the ceremony. Making her big entrance, Natalie walked with her parents down the stairs toward her anxious groom. As the sun began to set behind the city buildings, the couple said their official I do’s. After the ceremony, they wanted a private moment to exchange personal vows they had written to each other.
Because they hadn’t seen each other before the ceremony, Natalie and Tom were so excited to enjoy the day together and soak in the memories.
Their grand entrance into the reception was met with cheers, whoops and dances. Camping was the theme to their decor and the cake topper. After cutting the cake they were treated to lovely toasts. Before dancing the night away, the guests go to enjoy the firework display from Navy Pier.
